Our extrusions are supplied in aluminum alloys and copper and copper alloys (brass and bronze). The extrusions process begins with a metal die made to the customers required profile. A metal billet is heated, placed in an extrusion press and forced through the die producing the shape. The process is similar to squeezing toothpaste from a tube. Complex extrusions can be produced in aluminum however are more difficult in copper, brass or bronze. Deeco supplies some of the most complex shapes in the industry as our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment which has the ability to produce very large sizes and complex custom shapes in solid and hollow forms. To save 10-20 percent over you current supplier, send us your samples or drawings on extrusions. |
